J1939 Data Integration
The YDEG-04 receives supported data from the Caterpillar J1939 engine network and makes the corresponding information available on the vessel's NMEA 2000 network. The gateway supports J1939 messages including engine speed, engine operating hours, engine coolant temperature, engine fuel rate, intake manifold pressure, keyswitch battery potential and active diagnostic trouble codes.
J1939 active diagnostic trouble codes are handled through PGN 65226, allowing supported engine warnings to be represented on compatible NMEA 2000 equipment.
