Yacht Devices EVC-A-M Volvo Penta EVC-A Fuel/Multisensor Engine Gateway Adaptor Cable with Y-Connector for YDEG-04
The Yacht Devices EVC-A-M is an Engine Gateway adaptor cable designed for connecting the YDEG-04 Engine Gateway to the Fuel/Multisensor port of a Volvo Penta EVC-A system. The cable incorporates a Y-connector arrangement that retains the Multisensor connection while providing the required interface to the Engine Gateway.
The adaptor includes a 4-wire cable to the Device and a 6-wire Multisensor Y-connector cable. According to the supplied wiring diagram, CAN HIGH, CAN LOW, GND and VCC are connected between the Multisensor side and the YDEG-04, while the white and brown wires of the Multisensor Y-connector are not connected to the Device.

Application
The EVC-A-M provides the physical connection between the Volvo Penta EVC-A Fuel/Multisensor interface and the YDEG-04 Engine Gateway. With supported firmware, the gateway can handle data from up to eight Volvo Penta EVC-A engines on a network and make supported operating parameters and warning information available to NMEA 2000 instruments.
