Osculati DIN 7981 self-tapping screws are manufactured from stainless steel and feature a pan head with a cross-recessed drive. They are designed for fastening suitable marine fittings, panels and mechanical components where a self-tapping threaded connection is required.

The self-tapping thread allows the screw to form a mating thread in a compatible material during installation. Depending on the material, thickness and application, a correctly sized pilot hole may be required. The pan head provides a flat bearing surface underneath the head, while its slightly rounded upper profile remains visible after installation.

The cross-recessed drive allows tightening using a suitable screwdriver or driver bit. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance for appropriate marine, outdoor and general maintenance applications.
