Vetus V-Quipment Zinc Bolt-On Hull Anodes – Type 15, 25 & 35
The Vetus V-Quipment zinc bolt-on hull anodes are sacrificial anodes designed for cathodic protection of underwater metal components on vessels operating in salt and brackish water.
The anodes are manufactured from zinc to MIL-A-18001K specification and are available in Type 15, Type 25 and Type 35 sizes. Each version uses a two-point bolt-on mounting arrangement for installation on the hull.

Installation
The anodes must have direct electrical contact with the metal components being protected. For steel hulls, the Vetus ZKITS connection set is used. For GRP, fibreglass and wooden hulls, the Vetus ZKITP through-hull connection set provides mounting and electrical connection to the protected metal components.
Types 15, 25 and 35 require two connection kits per anode. The mounting side has a protective paint layer to help prevent damage to the hull coating.
