Vetus BOA003Z Bolt-On Zinc Hull Anode Rectangular 0.94 kg
The Vetus BOA003Z is a bolt-on zinc hull anode designed for effective cathodic protection of underwater metal components on vessels operating in saltwater and brackish water. Manufactured from high-purity zinc in accordance with MIL-A-18001K specifications, this anode provides reliable protection against galvanic corrosion on hulls, shafts, propellers, rudders, and other submerged metal parts.
Zinc anodes are recommended for saltwater applications, where they offer optimal durability and corrosion prevention. While aluminium anodes can also function in saltwater, they are consumed at a significantly faster rate. The BOA003Z combines increased mass with a streamlined rectangular form, ensuring extended service life and stable mounting. The integrated steel strap enables secure bolt-on installation and simplifies replacement when the anode material has been consumed.
