Vetus BOA006Z Bolt-On Zinc Hull Anode Rectangular 5.60 kg
The Vetus BOA006Z is a heavy-duty zinc hull anode developed for demanding marine applications in saltwater and brackish environments. Manufactured from high-purity zinc in accordance with MIL-A-18001K standards, this anode provides durable cathodic protection for hull structures, keels, stern tubes, and other heavily exposed underwater metal components.
Zinc anodes are the preferred solution for saltwater operation due to their stable electrochemical behavior and controlled consumption rate. The BOA006Z combines a very large mass with an extended rectangular profile, enabling wide protection coverage and long service intervals. The integrated steel strap allows weld-on installation or custom drilling for tailored mounting, making this anode suitable for flexible and non-standard installations.
