Vetus BOA007A Bolt-On Aluminium Hull Anode Rectangular 4.50 kg
The Vetus BOA007A is a high-capacity aluminium hull anode developed for effective cathodic protection of large underwater metal components in freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater environments. Manufactured from aluminium alloy in accordance with MIL-A-24779 (SH) standards, this anode provides high electrochemical efficiency and reliable corrosion prevention for hull structures, rudders, steering systems, and other heavily exposed metal parts.
Aluminium anodes are a lightweight and environmentally considerate alternative to zinc and provide superior performance in brackish water and areas with lower salt concentrations. The BOA007A combines very large mass with an extended rectangular profile, enabling wide protection coverage and long service intervals. It is suitable for bolt-on installation and can be adapted for weld-on or custom-drilled mounting where required.
