The MgDuff ASC Aluminium Propeller Shaft Ring Anode is a sacrificial anode designed for installation against the front face of a marine propeller. Manufactured from aluminium, it provides sacrificial corrosion protection for propeller shaft installations in brackish and saltwater environments.

The ASC series includes seven models for shaft diameters ranging from 22 to 50 mm. The anodes feature a ring-shaped body with external diameters from 60 to 81 mm and overall lengths of 15.5 or 18 mm, depending on the selected version.

Construction and Installation

The MgDuff ASC anode features a ring-shaped aluminium body designed to fit around the propeller shaft. It is intended to be mounted against the front face of the propeller.

Corrosion Protection and Water Compatibility

The aluminium anode functions as a sacrificial component, corroding preferentially to help protect metal components of the propeller shaft installation against corrosion.

The MgDuff ASC series is specified for use in brackish and saltwater environments.
