The Douglas Marine Trimmer Anchor Swivelling Connector is a premium anchoring solution designed to create a direct, articulated connection between the anchor and chain. Manufactured from polished marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, it offers outstanding corrosion resistance and long-term reliability in harsh marine environments.
The patented double-joint mechanism automatically aligns the anchor when it reaches the bow roller, preventing unwanted oscillation during recovery. Unlike conventional swivels, the Trimmer connector eliminates leverage forces generated when recovering a stuck anchor, significantly reducing stress on both the anchor and the anchoring system.
The connector installs directly between the anchor and chain without requiring an additional shackle. Reinforced geometry and integrated safety screws provide exceptional strength and side-load resistance, making it ideal for demanding cruising and offshore applications.
