The Vetus WHD045 is a 45-litre double-wall marine calorifier engineered to heat fresh water significantly faster than conventional spiral-tube calorifiers. Its double-wall design provides a heat-transfer surface many times larger than a traditional internal coil, ensuring quicker warm-up times and improved overall efficiency. For operation when the engine is not running, a 230V / 1500W electric heating element is integrated into the system.
Constructed with a duplex stainless-steel inner tank and a stainless-steel AISI 304 outer tank, the unit offers long-lasting corrosion resistance and durability. The calorifier is insulated with high-efficiency polyester foam and enclosed in a stainless-steel jacket to minimize heat loss. It can be installed in either horizontal or vertical positions to accommodate various spaces on board. A complete fitting kit is supplied, including hose pillars, a T-piece and a pressure relief valve.
