The Vetus WHD020 is a 20-litre double-wall calorifier engineered for extremely efficient heat transfer. Unlike conventional calorifiers that rely on a spiral tube, this model uses a double-wall heating principle with a much larger active heating surface. This design enables significantly faster water heating compared to standard spiral-tube calorifiers. The heater also includes a 230V / 1500W electric element for periods when the engine is not running, ensuring continuous availability of hot fresh water onboard.
Constructed with a duplex stainless-steel inner tank and a stainless-steel AISI 304 outer tank, the WHD020 offers excellent resistance to corrosion. Its polyester-foam insulation with stainless-steel jacket minimizes heat loss and maintains water temperature effectively. The calorifier is supplied with a complete fitting kit containing hose pillars and a pressure relief valve for secure installation. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally to suit available onboard space.
