The Vetus WHD055 is a 55-litre double-wall marine calorifier designed to provide extremely fast hot-water production. Unlike traditional calorifiers that use a spiral heating tube, this model employs a double-wall heat-transfer principle with a far greater active heating surface, allowing water to reach operating temperature significantly faster than with a conventional system.
The WHD055 features a duplex stainless-steel inner tank for excellent resistance to corrosion and an AISI 304 stainless-steel outer tank for enhanced durability. Its polyester-foam insulation, enclosed in a stainless-steel jacket, minimizes heat loss and stabilizes stored water temperature over extended periods. The unit comes equipped with a 230V / 1500W electric heating element for independent hot-water production when the engine is off. A complete fitting kit is included to simplify installation.
