The Vetus SAPRO220 sani-processor is designed to enable the installation of regular domestic toilets on larger boats by providing efficient onboard maceration and pumping of waste. This unit allows owners to use high-quality sanitary ware of their preferred style, similar to home installations. The processor connects to a standard toilet via a 102 mm diameter hose with a required minimum fall of 50 mm per metre. After flushing, it collects the waste, macerates it, and pumps the slurry either into a holding tank or directly overboard via a 19 mm diameter discharge hose. The entire processing cycle takes between 10 and 30 seconds and operates with minimal noise. In case of blockage, the unit can be easily serviced by removing the inspection lid. All connecting hoses must be fully odour-tight for correct installation.
