Vetus GWDS220 Grey Water Discharge System 230V 50 Hz
The Vetus GWDS220 grey water discharge system provides an effective solution for boats where wastewater from a shower tray or washbasin cannot naturally drain into a holding tank. The system features a watertight housing that incorporates a low-noise discharge pump and an automatic float switch, which activates the pump as soon as water enters the chamber. A non-return valve is integrated into the discharge line to prevent backflow.
For correct installation, the bottom of the GWDS assembly must be positioned at least 6 cm below the outlet of the shower tray or washbasin. The discharge pump is capable of moving grey water to a holding tank located up to 4 metres above the unit or up to 20 metres away. Alternatively, wastewater can be discharged directly overboard. If the system becomes clogged, the housing cover can be easily removed to clear the blockage.
