The Maxwell VW Series 1500 anchor windlass is a robust vertical windlass designed for vessels using traditional rope and chain combination anchor rodes. Manual transfer of the rode from the rope warping drum to the chainwheel is required during operation. The integrated drum and modular construction provide installation flexibility, including alternative horizontal mounting on a fore-and-aft bulkhead inside the chain locker for below-deck installations.
