Vetus NLP40 - Waterlock Muffler 40mm

The Vetus NLP Waterlocks are engineered with dual-stage construction, comprising upper and lower chambers separated by a horizontal partition plate and a central riser tube. This innovative design enhances exhaust noise suppression while minimizing back pressure, outperforming single-stage waterlocks. With the ability to rotate the top chamber through 360° and adjust both the inlet and outlet connectors, these waterlocks simplify installation, even in cramped engine compartments.

The rotatable inlet of the Waterlock connects to the engine exhaust manifold using Vetus exhaust hose. Exhaust gases, mixed with cooling water, are directed from the lower chamber to the upper chamber via the central riser tube. The outlet connector, also rotatable, expels the gases through Vetus exhaust hose connected to the transom connector. For optimal noise reduction, consider installing a Vetus muffler and gooseneck (DEMPMP40 & WLOCKLT40) downstream from the NLP Waterlock.
- Type NLP40/45/50: For exhaust hose with inner diameter of Ø 40, 45, or 51 mm, capacity of 4.5 liters
- Type NLP60/75/90/50S: For exhaust hose with inner diameter of Ø 51, 60, 76, or 90 mm, capacity of 10 liters
- Two fastening clamps included in the scope of delivery
