The Vetus NLP45 is a dual stage marine waterlock/muffler engineered for water-injected exhaust systems, combining efficient waterlock protection with enhanced acoustic performance. Its construction features upper and lower chambers separated by a horizontal partition plate, with a central riser tube allowing exhaust gases and cooling water to pass between the chambers. This design provides superior silencing compared to single-chamber waterlocks, while maintaining minimal back pressure for optimal engine performance. The 360° rotating top chamber and fully rotatable inlet and outlet connectors greatly simplify installation, especially in restricted engine compartments. The unit includes mounting brackets for bulkhead or floor attachment, two securing straps, and drain plugs for winter storage.
