The Vetus NLP40 is a dual stage waterlock/muffler designed for marine water-injected exhaust systems, combining efficient waterlock performance with enhanced sound attenuation. Its construction features upper and lower chambers separated by a horizontal partition plate, with a central riser tube guiding exhaust gases and cooling water through the system. This configuration provides superior silencing while minimizing back pressure, supporting optimal engine operation. Installation flexibility is significantly improved through the 360° rotating top chamber and fully rotatable inlet and outlet connectors. The unit is supplied with mounting brackets for bulkhead or floor installation, two securing straps, and drain plugs for winter storage.
