It features external dimensions of 491 x 326 mm and a D-shaped cut-out size of 417 x 252 mm. A low-profile 23 mm satin sheen anodized aluminum frame recesses 22 mm below deck, paired with a 10 mm dark smoke acrylic lid for durability and UV protection. The hatch opens from both inside and outside, can lock watertight or in a ventilation position, and includes adjusters allowing the lid to be held open at almost any angle up to 90°.

The hatch can be operated from inside or outside the vessel, and locked either fully watertight or in a ventilating position to balance comfort and safety onboard.
