Product Details
- Mounting concept: Rotating bearing housing bolted directly to the crankshaft pulley, eliminating mounting brackets, belts, and pulleys.
- Rotation: May be operated in either rotational direction.
- Installation note: Because the pump body is supported by the ball bearing only, it must be prevented from rotating by means of a torque arm designed and installed to avoid side load on the bearing.
- Inlet plumbing guidance: When installed to operate at or near maximum speed, the inlet plumbing must be designed to minimize vacuum at the pump inlet.
- Priming guidance: Suction lines must be airtight or the pump will not self-prime.
- Operating caution: The Neoprene impeller depends on the liquid pumped for lubrication; do not run dry for more than 30 seconds to avoid impeller damage.
- System check: Ensure the intake system is free of obstructions and the discharge system has less than 10 PSI pressure.
