The Vetus MV12A3/4 is a high-quality motorized ball valve engineered for use in marine environments where remote operation, safety, and reliability are essential. Ideal for seacocks in hard-to-reach locations or for increasing onboard convenience, this valve integrates a stainless steel (AISI 316) ball valve with a robust aluminium actuator housing and fully metal transmission gears.
The actuator produces up to 40 Nm of torque, ensuring dependable opening and closing performance under demanding conditions. With ISO 8846 Marine ignition protection, the unit is safe for installation in engine rooms, eliminating ignition risk. It is lubricated for life under normal operating conditions, minimizing required maintenance. The valve also includes thermal overload protection and is suitable for diesel fuel systems in addition to water and wastewater applications.
The MV12A3/4 can be operated remotely using Vetus ELVPAN12 or ELVPAN24 switches, or via the WWCP wastewater control panel (all purchased separately). This makes it a flexible component for integrated marine system setups where automation and safety are priorities.
