Vetus MV12A1/2 Motorized Ball Valve 12V with 1/2" Internal Thread
The Vetus MV12A1/2 motorized ball valve is an advanced, remotely operated valve designed for marine applications where convenience, safety, and reliability are essential. It is ideal for seacocks located in hard-to-reach areas or for installations where automated flow control is desired. The valve combines a high-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) ball with a corrosion-resistant aluminium actuator housing and fully metal transmission gears to ensure long service life in demanding onboard conditions.
Capable of delivering up to 40 Nm of torque, the actuator provides strong and consistent opening and closing performance. The motor is ignition protected according to ISO 8846 Marine, allowing safe installation in engine rooms without explosion risk. Thermal overload protection and lifetime lubrication of the gear system contribute to the valve’s exceptionally low maintenance requirements. The MV12A1/2 is compatible with Vetus remote switches (ELVPAN12/24) and the Vetus WWCP waste water control panel for integrated system management.
