Optiparts EX2208 is a performance outhaul system designed for Laser® 4.7 and ILCA® 4 dinghies, providing efficient sail foot tension control with a lightweight and low-friction configuration.

The system features a spliced 3 mm Dyneema® primary line for high strength and minimal stretch, paired with a 29 mm Harken Ti-Lite block for smooth, efficient line movement and reduced trimming effort.

A large loop on the primary line allows quick and secure attachment around the boom end, enabling fast installation and removal without complex rigging.

The included 4 mm DB-Racing secondary control line combines a Dyneema® core with a Technora / polyester cover, ensuring excellent grip, abrasion resistance, and durability during repeated adjustments.

All lines are pre-cut to ideal lengths for direct installation and allow optional customization with loop or braided handles for improved ergonomics.

For complete system setup, the EX2225 spliced mast loop is recommended (sold separately) and should be mounted above the gooseneck.
