Optiparts EX2225 is a high-performance mast loop assembly designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, featuring a 4 mm Dyneema® spliced loop with an integrated Harken 29 mm Ti-Lite block.
This component serves as a key attachment point for DB-Racing cunningham and outhaul systems, enabling efficient line routing and reduced friction during sail adjustments.
The Dyneema® loop provides exceptional strength and minimal stretch while remaining lightweight, ensuring reliable performance under load. The Harken Ti-Lite block delivers smooth low-friction operation, improving responsiveness and ease of trimming.
For cunningham systems, the loop is installed below the vang assembly on the mast. For outhaul systems, it is mounted above the gooseneck, allowing correct system geometry and optimal performance.
This component is essential for completing advanced control line setups and is commonly used in conjunction with DB-Racing upgrade kits.
