Optiparts EX2055 is a replacement daggerboard for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, manufactured from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) with an internal foam core to provide a strong yet lightweight foil suitable for regular sailing use.
The foam core construction reduces weight without compromising rigidity, while the smooth white gelcoat finish provides a durable protective outer layer with low-friction hydrodynamic characteristics. This makes the board well suited for everyday club sailing, training programs, and recreational fleet maintenance.
The EX2055 is designed as a practical replacement for worn or damaged original daggerboards supplied with Laser® and ILCA® boats. It offers dependable performance for non-class racing applications where durability and affordability are priorities.
The Windesign foils are not allowed for official racing, but are ideal as replacement foils for regular sailing use.
