Optiparts EX2054 is a replacement rudder blade for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, manufactured from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) with an internal foam core to achieve a strong, lightweight, and durable steering foil suitable for regular recreational sailing use.
The foam core construction reduces overall weight while maintaining structural rigidity, and the white gelcoat outer finish provides a smooth hydrodynamic surface with added protection against moisture ingress and surface wear.
This rudder blade is ideal for replacing worn, damaged, or aging original foils supplied with the boat. It is designed for training, club sailing, and recreational use, offering dependable steering performance outside official class racing competition.
Compatible with the Optiparts EX2053 rudderhead assembly.
Not allowed for use in official Laser® Class Association events.
