Optiparts EX1051 – Optimist Upgraded School Mast Set with Reinforced Components
The Optiparts EX1051 upgraded school mast set is designed to provide improved durability and functionality for training environments. It combines an upgraded mast with enhanced fittings, a reliable school boom, and a reinforced sprit with protection features, making it suitable for intensive use in sailing schools.
The mast (EX1011) is equipped with a stainless steel halyard block, aluminium Clamcleats, a nylon pin stop, and two stainless steel eyes for secure sail attachment. This configuration offers improved handling and durability compared to standard school masts.
The boom (EX1030) features a 32 mm aluminium construction with blue nylon inboard and outboard end fittings, a nylon outhaul cleat, and dedicated fittings for mainsheet and downhaul attachment.
The sprit (EX1042) is fitted with blue ends and includes a 15 cm black protection tube, reducing wear between the mast and sprit and extending the lifespan of the rig components.
Please note that the rigging pack with all necessary lines is not included and must be ordered separately (EX1056).
