The Optiparts EX1050 school mast set is a practical and durable spar solution for training environments and sailing schools. The set includes a complete combination of mast, boom, and sprit, providing a reliable foundation for Optimist rigs used in beginner and instructional settings.
The mast (EX1010) is constructed from aluminium and equipped with stainless steel halyard and downhaul cleats for dependable operation. The boom (EX1030) has a 32 mm diameter, offering a balance between strength and ease of handling, while the sprit (EX1040) features a 25 mm diameter construction without additional chafe protection tubing.
This configuration is similar to the upgraded school set but uses stainless steel cleats and a simplified sprit design, making it suitable for robust, low-maintenance use.
Please note that the rigging pack with all required lines is not included and must be ordered separately (EX1056).
