Tecnoseal Yamaha Outboard Anode Kit 40–50 HP – Zinc or Magnesium

The Tecnoseal KITYAMAHA40-50 series consists of sacrificial anode kits designed for Yamaha 40–50 HP outboard motors. Each kit contains five replacement anodes manufactured from the same sacrificial material, helping protect compatible Yamaha outboard components against galvanic corrosion.

The kit includes one anode from each of the Tecnoseal 01100, 01123, 01131, 01132 and 01147 series. During service, these sacrificial anodes corrode preferentially, helping reduce corrosion of protected metallic engine components. The kits are supplied without mounting hardware.

Two material versions are available: zinc (Tecnoseal KITYAMAHA40-50) and magnesium (Tecnoseal KITYAMAHA40-50MG). According to the Tecnoseal catalogue, the zinc kit weighs 1.01 kg (2.23 lbs), while the magnesium kit weighs 0.40 kg (0.88 lbs). Both versions contain five anodes with corresponding part numbers.
