Product Details
- Safety limitations: Do not use to pump flammable fluids (gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil, etc.) and do not use in an explosive environment.
- Priming guidance: To start and prime, keep the discharge line open to allow trapped air to escape and avoid airlock.
- Plumbing guidance: Use flexible hose with the correct pressure rating and compatibility with the fluid. Recommended tubing is a minimum of 3/8 inch ID and at least 20 inches in length; do not crimp or kink.
- Check valve note: If a check valve is installed in the plumbing, cracking pressure must be no more than 2 PSI (0.14 bar) to avoid interfering with priming.
- Inlet protection: Use a minimum 40 mesh strainer or filter on the inlet line to help prevent debris from entering the pump.
