The Simrad SteadySteer™ Flow Switch enhances autopilot functionality by allowing immediate manual steering without disengaging the autopilot system. When you manually turn the helm, the autopilot automatically disengages. Once a new heading is established, the autopilot reengages automatically.
This solution provides smooth and intuitive boat control without alarms or button presses. It is compatible with NAC-2 and NAC-3 autopilot computers, AP44, IS42, AP48 and Simrad multifunction displays with supported software versions.
