The Simrad RS40-B Marine VHF Radio with DSC and AIS RXTX features an integrated Class B AIS transceiver. It not only receives AIS targets but also transmits your vessel’s position, improving visibility to other AIS-equipped boats in all conditions.
The built-in AIS receiver helps monitor surrounding traffic, while AIS data can be shown on the radio display or overlaid on a compatible multifunction display. An integrated GPS receiver supports accurate DSC distress calling. The removable fist mic supports front or rear connection for flexible installation.
