The 80A BEP Heavy Duty Single Pole Thermal Type Breaker is designed for flush-mounted applications, providing reliable protection for auxiliary and accessory circuits in trucks, buses, RVs, and marine setups, as well as battery chargers and DC audio systems. Series 184 and 185 feature a sealed design for engine compartment and bilge area applications. The breaker's robust construction includes a thermoset plastic housing (UL rated 94VO at 311ºF or 155ºC), tin-plated copper studs, brass rivets, and stainless steel locking nuts on covered units with F (Surface Mount) bases. With ratings of 30-150A, 30V DC, and a 3000A interrupt capacity, it operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25ºF (-32ºC) to 180ºF (82ºC). Mountable on panels or surfaces, the breaker also includes a unique reset mechanism in Series 184 and 185 for visible indication of a tripped condition.
