Osculati serrated lock washers are manufactured from A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel and are listed according to DIN 6798. They feature a circular profile with serrations around the circumference, designed to provide additional resistance to rotation in suitable threaded fastening assemblies.

The toothed profile is intended to grip the adjacent contact surfaces when the washer is compressed beneath a screw head, bolt head or nut. This additional friction can help resist loosening in appropriate mechanical connections.
