Osculati Grower spring lock washers are manufactured from A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel and are listed according to DIN 127 / UNI 1751. These fastening components feature a split circular ring with offset ends, creating the characteristic spring washer profile.

When compressed between a nut or bolt head and the mounting surface, the split ring provides spring action. This design is traditionally used to help resist loosening in suitable threaded fastening assemblies.

Unlike standard DIN 125 flat washers, Grower washers have a discontinuous ring with an angled split rather than a completely flat, closed circular profile. They are also distinct from DIN 6798 serrated lock washers, which feature teeth around the washer circumference.
