Osculati domed cap hexagon nuts are manufactured from A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel and are listed according to DIN 1587 / UNI 5721. These closed-end nuts combine a standard hexagonal fastening body with a rounded dome that covers the end of the mating threaded fastener.

The domed cap provides a smooth, finished appearance and conceals the exposed end of a bolt, machine screw or threaded rod. This design is useful for visible fastening points where both mechanical attachment and appearance are important.
