The MUIR VR3500 / VRC3500 is a professional-grade vertical drum anchor windlass developed for yachts between 15 and 18 metres (49–59 ft). This series combines powerful anchoring performance with durable marine construction and is available in 12 V, 24 V and hydraulic versions to suit a wide range of onboard electrical and hydraulic systems.
All models in this product range are supplied with an integrated drum, providing additional rope handling capability alongside the chain gypsy. The windlass is fitted with a chrome-plated bronze gypsy, drum and housing, while the 1500 W electric motor versions deliver reliable performance for demanding anchoring operations.
Designed for 10 mm or 13 mm anchor chain, the VR3500 / VRC3500 develops a maximum pull of 1600 kg with a maximum retrieval speed of 13.5 m/min. Manual emergency operation is also supported for added safety when required.
