The MUIR HR2500 Cheetah is a compact horizontal drum anchor windlass engineered for yachts between 13 and 16 metres. Designed for dependable anchoring in demanding marine conditions, the series is available in 12 V, 24 V and hydraulic configurations while maintaining the same robust mechanical design.
Every windlass in this range is supplied with an integrated drum and emergency manual operation as standard. The electric models are powered by a 1200 W motor, while all versions support either 10 mm or 13 mm anchor chain for flexible installation options.
The HR2500 Cheetah combines a durable aluminium housing with chrome-plated bronze gypsy and drum components to provide long service life in harsh saltwater environments. With a maximum pull of 1150 kg and retrieval speeds of up to 15 m/min, it is designed for reliable anchoring aboard medium to large cruising yachts.
