The Vetus SEAMAN Helm Seat is a roomy and comfortable helm chair with a classic appearance, designed for flexible steering positions on board. The front seat cushion can be flipped up, allowing the operator to steer while standing or leaning, which improves ergonomics and control during active navigation.
The chair features flip-up armrests and corrosion-resistant aluminium hinges, providing durability in marine environments and additional freedom of movement when required. Extra padding in both the seat and backrest ensures comfort during short and extended journeys.
Upholstered in durable marine vinyl in Pure White (RAL9010) with white seams, the seat is designed to withstand UV exposure, saltwater, and frequent use. The ergonomic shape supports a natural seating posture for reduced fatigue.
The SEAMAN Helm Seat is supplied without a pedestal and is compatible only with pedestals equipped with sliding brackets. For protection against dirt and UV exposure, the use of seat covers CCDS or CCSB is recommended.
