The Vetus CHSEAMC Seaman is a roomy and elegant helm seat that combines classic styling with modern marine functionality. The soft light ivory tone gives the seat a warm and refined appearance, making it suitable for both traditional and contemporary vessels.
Extra padding in the seat and backrest ensures a high level of comfort, even during extended journeys. The ergonomically shaped flip-up front section allows smooth transition between seated and standing or leaning steering positions, improving visibility and freedom of movement. The padded aluminium armrests are also flip-up, providing support when required without limiting access.
Upholstered in durable marine-grade skai imitation leather, the seat is water-resistant and UV-resistant, making it suitable for continuous use in demanding marine environments. The light ivory finish (RAL 1015) maintains a clean and elegant appearance while remaining easy to maintain.
The seat is constructed on an aluminium frame for strength and reduced weight. Supplied without a pedestal, it is compatible only with pedestals featuring a slide system (hole pattern R). Protective seat covers CCDS or CCSB can be used to keep the upholstery clean and protected against UV exposure when not in use.
