The Vetus CHSEAMMB Seaman is a luxurious helm seat that combines classic nautical styling with practical marine functionality. Its roomy construction and additional padding provide enhanced comfort during extended journeys, while the neo-classic appearance complements both traditional and modern helm stations.
The ergonomically shaped flip-up front section allows smooth transition between seated and standing steering positions. This design keeps the helmsman securely supported whether sitting or standing behind the wheel. The padded aluminium armrests are also flip-up and provide stable support when required.
Upholstered in marine-grade skai imitation leather, the seat is water-resistant and UV-resistant, making it suitable for continuous use in demanding marine environments. The mahogany brown finish (RAL 8016) with white seams delivers a warm, refined appearance while remaining practical for everyday use.
The seat is constructed on an aluminium frame for strength and reduced weight. Supplied without a pedestal, it is compatible only with pedestals featuring a slide system (hole pattern R). Protective seat covers CCDS or CCSB can be used to keep the upholstery clean and protected against UV exposure when not in use.
