The Vetus LT40 gooseneck is engineered to raise the exhaust hose above the waterline in marine water-injected exhaust systems using Ø40 mm internal hose diameters. This vertical rise prevents seawater from backfilling the exhaust line, protecting the engine from potential flooding. In addition to its primary safety function, the LT40 also provides modest noise reduction by stabilising the exhaust flow. Its outlet is compatible with all Vetus rubber transom connectors, ensuring straightforward integration into existing installations.
