Vetus WLOCKLT40 - Plastic Gooseneck Type LT40, 40mm

This Vetus gooseneck is designed to elevate the exhaust hose above the waterline, preventing water from backfilling the exhaust system. It's compatible with exhaust hoses featuring inner diameters of Ø 40, 45, 51, or 60 mm, offering versatility for various engine setups.

After the engine is turned off, any remaining cooling water in the exhaust hose will naturally flow to the lowest point of the system, typically where the waterlock is located. To minimize the quantity of water, the gooseneck should be installed as close as possible behind the waterlock. Alternatively, it can be directly mounted onto the transom exhaust connection (TRC40R) if necessary.
