With dimensions of 910 × 320 × 320 mm and supplied with stainless steel (AISI 316) mounting brackets, the unit is ideal for installations where space does not allow a waterlock or gooseneck. Installation Notes
- The transom fitting must be installed at least 5 cm lower than the outlet of the engine’s exhaust manifold to ensure seawater flows away from the engine at all times.
- Integrated check valves (“flappers”) in both the muffler and the transom connection prevent seawater backflow even in waves or when manoeuvring astern.
- No gooseneck is required due to the check valve system.
- The compact dimensions make the MV150 suitable for installations where space is limited.
