The Vetus LSS50A is a marine waterlock specifically engineered for vessels operating in rough waters or for exhaust systems with extended hose routing. Suitable for hoses with a 50 mm internal diameter, this model offers a 5.7 litre internal volume to prevent the substantial amount of cooling water in long exhaust lines from flowing back into the engine after shutdown. Both the inlet and outlet stubs rotate through 360 degrees, offering exceptional installation flexibility and allowing the waterlock to adapt to tight or complex layouts. With a reduced height of just 225 mm, the unit can be installed beneath floor panels, making it ideal for sailing yachts and compact engine compartments. A drain plug is fitted for winter storage, and one securing strap is supplied as standard.
