The Vetus LSS40A is a specialized marine waterlock engineered for vessels operating in rough waters or equipped with long exhaust lines, such as sailing yachts. Designed for hoses with a 40 mm internal diameter, this model offers a 5.7 litre internal capacity to prevent the significant volume of cooling water in the exhaust system from running back into the engine after shutdown. Both the inlet and outlet stubs can rotate through 360 degrees, providing maximum installation flexibility in confined spaces. A reduced height of 225 mm allows this model to be mounted beneath floor structures, making it ideal for yachts and compact engine compartments. A drain plug is fitted for winter storage, and a securing strap is supplied as standard.
