The Vetus COMFL1230 Combiflex 12 Flexible Coupling is a next-generation shaft coupling engineered to deliver exceptional vibration damping and alignment accuracy in marine propulsion systems. It integrates the best mechanical and damping characteristics of the Vetus UNIFLEX and BULLFLEX models into one compact, affordable design.

The coupling’s flexible rubber element absorbs torsional vibrations and cyclic irregularities, especially at low engine revolutions, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. Its innovative self-centering system maintains perfect shaft alignment even when minor angular deviations of up to 2° are present. The coupling is further protected against axial and radial shear forces, providing secure torque transmission under all operating conditions.

Featuring a parallel clamping hub design, the COMFL1230 simplifies installation and maintenance. Unlike traditional tapered hubs, no shaft tapering or keyway machining is required—simply cut the shaft to length, deburr, degrease, and install. The 4" flange fits directly onto most standard gearbox models, with optional adapter flanges available for Volvo, Yanmar, and Kanzaki gearboxes.
