The Jabsco 7420-0004 flexible impeller pedestal mount pump delivers a nominal 62 GPM (235 litres/min) at 1750 rpm for demanding marine duties such as engine cooling and general-purpose liquid transfer. Its bronze construction with a neoprene impeller, full thickness cam, and carbon/ceramic mechanical seal supports dependable operation, while 1-1/4 inch NPT internal vertical ports simplify integration. Self-priming performance, bi-directional pumping capability, and operation at low or high speeds make it a versatile onboard solution when installed with airtight suction lines and run with liquid for lubrication.

Product Details
- Bronze body and stainless steel shaft construction stated for marine environments
- Primes at low or high speeds (self-priming performance depends on airtight suction lines)
- Pumps either thin or viscous liquids and can handle more solids in suspension than other types of rotary pumps
- Operates at low or high speeds, can be mounted at any angle, and pumps in either direction with equal efficiency
- Pump shaft rotation determines intake and discharge port locations
- Normally assembled at the factory for clockwise rotation (looking at end cover)
- Depends on the liquid pumped for lubrication; do not run dry for more than 30 seconds
- Do not pump gasoline or other flammable liquids
- Neoprene impeller is noted as suitable for water and general-purpose pumping; if there is any oil in the water, use a nitrile impeller (see parts list)
Features
- Mechanical seal
- Self-priming up to 10 feet vertical lift
- Easy to service and maintain
- Will tolerate abrasive wear
- Handles hard and soft solids without clogging
- Can pump in either direction
- Will not airlock
