Aquadrive HDL60.780 Flanged – Heavy Duty Line Anti-Vibration Thrust Bearing System, Max Torque 25000 Nm
The Aquadrive HDL60.780 Flanged is part of the Aquadrive Heavy Duty Line (HDL), engineered to isolate propeller thrust and drivetrain vibrations from the engine and vessel hull. The system combines a thrust bearing housing with a constant velocity (CV) joint, allowing the engine to move freely on flexible mounts while propeller thrust forces are absorbed by the Aquadrive unit mounted directly to the vessel structure.
This configuration significantly reduces vibration and structural noise while simplifying engine alignment and improving onboard comfort. The system utilizes the CV60 constant velocity joint and a flanged shaft connection, making it suitable for heavy-duty marine propulsion installations operating with high torque and thrust loads.
Key Features

Notes
- Rated power examples are based on optimum conditions with a 2° angle for each CV joint.
- If the CV joint operates at an angle greater than 2°, the maximum permitted power must be reduced.
- Typical reduction is approximately 8–9% for each additional degree above 2°.
- The maximum allowable joint angle is 3° depending on shaft rpm.
- For higher bending angles, consultation with Aquadrive technical support is recommended.
