The Osculati Surface Mount Watertight Circuit Breakers combine thermal overload protection and manual battery isolation in a compact marine-grade housing for surface installation. Designed for windlasses, bow thrusters, and other high-current DC systems, these resettable circuit breakers comply with SAE J1171 and CE28846 Vapor Proof standards, feature enlarged 5/16" electrical terminals, IP66 waterproof protection, and are available in current ratings from 50A to 200A. Versions rated 100A and above are also suitable for use as general battery disconnect switches.

Osculati Surface Mount Watertight Circuit Breakers for Windlass & Bow Thruster (50–200A)
The Osculati Surface Mount Circuit Breaker range is designed to protect high-current marine electrical systems while providing convenient manual circuit isolation. Combining the functions of a resettable thermal circuit breaker and an ON/OFF switch, these units are ideal for electric windlasses, bow thrusters, and other demanding onboard DC applications.
Manufactured in the USA to SAE J1171 and CE28846 Vapor Proof standards, these marine circuit breakers are engineered for long-term reliability with approximately 3,000 operating cycles. Their surface-mount construction simplifies installation where recessed mounting is not practical, while oversized 5/16" terminals allow secure connection of heavy-duty marine cables.
The breakers are rated IP66 for water resistance and support electrical systems up to 48V DC. Models from 100A to 200A can also be used as general battery disconnect switches, making them suitable for a wide variety of marine electrical installations.
